2 Guild firsts tonight.
A truly fantastic night for the guild raid team with a 2 shot of Heroic Faction Champs, followed by a kill of Twin Valks.
Some notable news:
FMP got the Stam Trink...wewt
Rebecca seemed to illicit a favorable response from guys and girls
Dream : "I like boobs"
Anyways, it was a super raid tonight. Anub 25 Heroic attempts was thwarted by the server glitches. In fact, we almost got cut early due to server issues.
Grats to the team having 4 bosses down!

Holy crap I never actually broke a sweat playing wow. Solo soaking, while healing raid and mostly myself
While dodging orbs of the opposite color is hard work. Amazing job to all in the raid last night.
I think I soaked almost 100+ orbs last night.
Stupid server glitches.
Icecrown here we come...
Honorable mention to fmp for breaking my ears trying to talk over storm.

I'd love to see a combat log for that fight. It was really fun to heal. If Divine Sac wasn't getting nerfed/changed, I'd like to do normal mode that way too. We could still do it with 4 Pallys, or we might be able to outheal it with 6 heals in normal.

Raid still gets 20% from DG, only the party gets the 30% from DS.

The big change to DS in 3.3 was not the % damage reduction, it was the removal of the Divine Shield + redirect damage to Pally combo.
With Divine Guardian in 3.3, the duration is reduced (I believe) to 6 seconds and there is no redirection of damage to the Paladin, only a 20% decrease in damage taken by the raid. Looking at wowhead, Vortex does 30k damage over 5 seconds, ~6k a tick. (So we wouldn't need 4 Pallys, 2 should be able to DS the whole duration of two Vortex). With DG 3.3 up, that's 24k damage to players of the opposite color as opposed to zero damage with DG 3.2. With Aura Mastery it will still probably be doable. Heroic might be a different story though.

Yes it would be favorable for me and Khaster (rets) to do it now too and not loose DPS at all .
