Posted by: Rix Dec 10 2009, 02:38 AM

Congrats.

First night impressive stuff.
1 shot marrow and 7th shot deathwhisper.

Edit:
Since my post got on front page news...

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who did their part on Wednesday nights raid.

Once we get the strats down we will be clearing the raid faster.

Be reminded i have posted up stats from Tankspot which i will be updating on a regular basis to keep up to date with recent hotfixes/nerfs associated with the boss fights

Grats.

yeah, it was great to adaptively learn the fights tonight.

many of us have also already cleared the wing on 10 man, and i can say that we have passed the hard part on 25man for what is currently available.

I encourage all to review the strat and be ready!

Rocket
im jealous.

sometimes i hate how i have to work so early in the morning.

i wanna get some 10's done but no time...
le sigh.

speaking of which.

eh rix, it is advantageous to me in that I really try to learn the nuances as a tank as well as the things that the mobs/bosses do.

work also brings in real moolah, so trust me that you will never have regrets.

lastly, kyta may have spots, and if not - you could potentally get another 10 started on a non raid night. If you build it, they will come.

Never regret work. Money is nice.
But I miss out on the achievement which sucks.

I won't ever call in sick just to play wow. Who does that?
Hahaha
But no doubt when I was mt and raid leader for my guild on my war
I always had to make sure I knew all the fights down to the t and the i.

So props on you rocket. Now your the stud.

How was the gunship battle and death btw?

Posted by: Rocket Dec 10 2009, 04:02 PM

they both were quite easy

gunship: mostly a communication fight. I don't think it was terribly hard to dps or heal_ and tanking on the horde ship was purely managing stacks. As long as the tank jumped first and returned last, the management of things seemed easy. We had great healer comm who let me know that things were becoming challenging (I'd jump back no later than 20 stacks, everuone else went at 15)

the last boss was very much like gormok in sime sense. Paying attn to tank switches was important.

I'm throwing down emphasis on this. Do not jump before your tank ;-)
